Eligibility Criteria for Certificate Course in Yoga :

The candidates are required to pass the 12th or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
The candidates are required to pass the 12th with at least a 50% marks.
Candidates belonging to the reserved categories such as SC/ST are allowed a relaxation of 5%.
The candidate needs to be 18 years of age to be able to join the Certificate Course in Yoga.
Candidates appearing for 10+2 in the same year can also apply, given they complete their qualifying degree requirements before the course commencement date.
Certificate Course in Yoga Philosophy Syllabus :
This course includes an introduction to learning the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali, Hatha Yoga Pradipika and Gheranda Samhita. Furthermore, it includes full insight into the real experiences of the core Yoga asanas, pranayamas, kriyas, idea studies, public speaking, teaching technique etc. The emphasis in the course is on developing the right perspective through the first-hand experience and understanding the science and art of Yoga. This course presents the general structure of Indian philosophy and basic principles of Yoga based on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
