A NEP 2020 , Orientation Programme was conducted in DAV PG College , Varanasi on 15th October , 2025 . The speaker for the programme was Dr. Ashutosh Mohan, Institute of Management Sciences , BHU. Dr. Mohan is an active member of the framing of NEP course structure in BHU. He addressed the students of BA/Becom semester I .

In his discussion he told im details the different aspects of papers to be taken as Major, Minor, MD, SEC, AEC, VAC and VOC. He also mentioned the difference between UG four year programme with research and without research , as well as the criteria which says that top 10% rankers would be eligible to opt for UG with research. The credit flexibility given through online course option was also dealt in detail . The levels of entry and exit points were discussed . Further the provision given to swap among major and minor once after completing 1st year was also told to students . In all he discussed every aspects from the purposes of inception of various courses to its practical applicability in skill enhancement and critical thinking . The session ended with presidential remarks by the Principal.
