Under the guidance of Programme Officer Dr. Bandana Bal Chandnani, the NSS Unit E of D.A.V. P.G. College, Varanasi, enthusiastically celebrated the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan on 14th August 2024 as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, commemorating the 75th year of India’s independence. This campaign, initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to inspire every household to hoist the National Flag, thereby fostering a sense of national unity and pride among citizens. The Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan seeks to encourage citizens to display the National Flag at their homes, reinforcing a bond of unity and national pride. By participating in this initiative, citizens not only express their respect for the Tricolour but also contribute to the celebration of India’s rich heritage and independence. The event commenced at 10:45 AM with volunteers gathering at the D.A.V. College Ground. Filled with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour, the volunteers then embarked on a rally at 11:00 AM, spreading awareness about the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.During the rally, the volunteers distributed National Flags to the public, encouraging them to participate in the campaign by hoisting the Tricolour at their homes. They emphasized the significance of the National Flag as a symbol of patriotism, unity, and pride.
