The main objective of UDAAN the Youth festival at DAV PG COLLEGE, is to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents and engage in creative expression through various cultural events. It serves as a celebration of youth and creativity, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among the College students. Udaan provides a stage for students to compete in various artistic and academic disciplines, including literature, dance, drama, music, painting, poetry, and more. The festival encourages students to explore their creative potential and express themselves through diverse mediums, fostering a vibrant atmosphere of artistic expression. Udaann brings together students from different faculties creating opportunities for interaction and collaboration, thus strengthening the college community. The festival is a vibrant celebration of youth, highlighting the energy, enthusiasm, and potential of students of DAV PG College Some past events, like the “Ek Bharat, Shresth Bharat” theme, have also included initiatives to raise awareness about social issues and promote unity and diversity. The competitive nature of Udaan allows students to hone their skills and talents in various fields, preparing them for future opportunities. The Three day youth festival of DAV PG College Udaan started on 27 Feb 2025 and ended on 1 March 2025 was dedicated on women empowerment. The festival was inaugurated by Padma shri Dr. Soma Ghosh on 28 Feb 2025 and chief guest for valedictory session was Pandit Devbrat Mishra. 240 Participants competed in 40 events. The Festival was dedicated to Women Empowerment. The winner in the college Youth Festival was sent to BHU Youth Festival was sent to SPANDAN BHU.
